Immediately adjacent to the Powers Run Bridge is the headquarters of the Area Transportation Authority, which is a public transit agency serving six rural counties in north central Pennsylvania. He initiated the integration of voice communications between ATA's Regional Dispatch Center, its fleet drivers and the region's 911 centers. His knowledge and experience with advanced digital technologies help to further statewide initiatives to better the lives of the residents of this region and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Johnsonburg Borough Council wishes to name the SR219 bridge over Powers Run in the Johnsonburg Borough near the Area Transportation Authority headquarters as the Michael Trunzo Memorial Bridge.
