Subject: A Resolution Congratulating the Notre Dame Women’s Basketball Team on Winning Their Second N.C.A.A. Women’s Basketball Title
 
In the very near future, I will be introducing a resolution to congratulate the Notre Dame Women’s Basketball team on winning their second N.C.A.A. Women’s Basketball Title.

On Sunday, April 1, 2018, the women’s championship game ended with a riveting last second jump shot by Notre Dame guard Arike Ogunbowale to give the Irish a 61-58 victory over Mississippi State. Notre Dame’s win capped the biggest comeback in the final since the women’s N.C.A.A. tournament began in 1982.
