Subject: Physician Anesthesiologist Week Resolution - Jan. 27 - Feb. 4th
 
Receiving and recovering from surgery can be a difficult and frightening time for people all across the United States. In order to ensure the health and wellbeing of surgical patients, anesthesiologists evaluate a patient’s health prior to the procedure, administer the anesthesia, monitor the patient during surgery, and assess the patient’s status after the procedure is complete. Without their tireless efforts, safe and successful surgery simply would not be possible.

For this reason, I will be introducing a resolution to designate the week of January 27, 2019, to February 2, 2019, as “Physician Anesthesiologist Week.” Please join me in recognizing the outstanding work of Pennsylvania’s physician anesthesiologists.
