| Subject: | RESOLUTION – CONDOLENCE RESOLUTION FOR SGT BENJAMIN S. HINES |
| Three(3) U.S. Marines were killed in the line of duty Monday April 8, 2019 while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan, two of which had ties to York County and served with ECHO Company 2nd Battalion 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division with the Marine Forces in Harrisburg. This resolution is in honor of one of them ~ Sgt Benjamin S. Hines. Hines was a 2006 graduate of Dallastown Area High School and began his military career with the U.S. Marines in the fall of 2006. Hines had been deployed three(3) times: Operation Iraqi Freedom, Georgia and Afghanistan during which time he received various awards and decorations. Please join Representatives Mike Turzai, Mike Jones and myself in honoring the life, service and achievements of Sgt Benjamin S. Hines and extend condolences to his family and friends.
