Subject: Designation April 1, 2020, as "Public Education Day" in Pennsylvania
 
In the very near future I will be introducing legislation recognizing April 1, 2020, as "Public Education Day" in Pennsylvania.

Every child in this Commonwealth deserves access to quality education. Investing in education, including institutions of higher education, is the only way to continue to raise student test scores and graduation rates and to reduce poverty. Data shows that investing in public education will grow this Commonwealth's economy now and in the future.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation and our continuing efforts to improve and increase funding for public education in this Commonwealth.
