MEMORANDUM

Posted: December 9, 2019 02:55 PM
From: Representative Anthony M. DeLuca
To: All House members
Subject: Protect Pennsylvania's Wildlife

A recent viral video shows two Pennsylvania teens kicking a wounded deer in the face, ripping at its antlers, and stepping on its legs. This type of behavior has mortified the public and violates the values of ethical sportsmen and hunters throughout this Commonwealth. For that reason, I will be introducing legislation that will revoke or deny the hunting licenses of individuals in these circumstances. This will provide additional protections to Pennsylvania’s wildlife, while also preserving the traditions of hunters and sportsmen.

I hope that you will join me in sponsoring this important legislation.

Introduced as HB2221
