Subject: Designating September 2020 as “Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month” in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution designating the month of September 2020 as “Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month” in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A brain aneurysm is a serious, life threatening condition claiming approximately 12,000 people annually across the United States. With early detection, brain aneurysms can be controlled and stabilized, saving peoples lives.
It is imperative that we continue to advocate for awareness and continued to research to help better understand, prevent and treat brain aneurysms.

It is my hope that you will join me in supporting this resolution.
