Subject: Navy and Marine Corps Medal Plate
 
Please join me in co-sponsoring my upcoming legislation that would honor the recipients of the prestigious Navy and Marine Corps Medal by providing them with their own special registration plate. The Navy and Marine Corps Medal is the highest non-combat decoration awarded for heroism by the United States Department of the Navy to the members of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Any recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Medal may apply for their special registration plate through PennDOT, accompanied by a fee of $20.

The Navy and Marine Corps Medal is the equivalent to the Army’s Soldier’s Medal, Air Force’s Airman’s Medal and Coast Guard’s Coast Guard Medal.
