| Subject: | Reduced Hunting and Fishing License Fees for Volunteer Firefighters |
| In the near future, I plan to introduce a bill that will offer a reduced fee for hunting and fishing licenses for volunteer firefighters in our Commonwealth. This bill would reduce the fee to the same level as Resident National Guard, Resident Reserves, and Resident Military Hunting Licenses, which is $2.90. This bill would be a small but meaningful way to thank those who volunteer their time and risk their lives to serve our communities as firefighters. As the ranks of our volunteer firefighters continue to decline, the brave men and women who continue to answer the call deserve this small token of appreciation from the communities they protect and serve.
