Subject: National Safe Boating Week
 
National Safe Boating Week will be taking place from May 16-22, 2020, and I plan on introducing a resolution recognizing this week in Pennsylvania.  

 

With mid-May quickly approaching, so is the warm weather.  Many residents are preparing to put their boats in one of the many rivers in Allegheny County and across Pennsylvania to kick off the boating season.  However, it is important that individuals take precautions to ensure safety amongst their passengers.  Such precautions include always wearing a life jacket, never boat under the influence and take a boat safety course.   

 

I hope you will join me in co sponsoring this resolution so that Pennsylvanians have the safest boating season yet!
