Subject: “PA 211 Day in Pennsylvania”
 
In the near future I will be introducing a resolution designating February 11th as PA 211 day here in Pennsylvania. For several years, PA 211 has provided high-quality, courteous, and professional service to Pennsylvanians in their most desperate moments of need. Thanks to our investments in this vital database and hotline, every person in the Commonwealth can dial 211 for help locating support for their health and human service’s needs. In addition to voice services, PA 211 is also available statewide by text and web search 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Supported and promoted by local United Ways across the Commonwealth, PA 211 specialists are committed to the six “E’s”, Excellent, Efficient, Everywhere, Every day, Every Way, Engagement. These highly trained individuals connect people with the information and resources they need to build healthy and safe communities.  

Please join me in recognizing PA 211’s significant and essential role by designating February 11, 2021, as 211 day in Pennsylvania.
