Subject: | Elder Abuse Package |
All of us are concerned with elder abuse as a growing issue in our districts. Whether it be scams taking advantage of our parents and grandparents or neglect to properly care for our loved ones at home or in facilities, we must do more to stop elder abuse. Many of you many know that June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. We are introducing this package of bills because our seniors deserve better and deserve to be protected by the law. The package of bills will include the following pieces of legislation: |
