| Subject: | Economic Recovery for Airports Through Job Creation |
| In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that will encourage the development of vacant property owned by public-use airports, and leased to industrial or commercial businesses, by providing a $2,100 tax credit for each new full-time job that is created. The Commonwealth’s airports are a critical economic asset; however, they continue to struggle with the ability to create additional productive economic uses. By working together with the private sector to develop our airports, we can create more jobs and economic opportunity for local communities. I ask that you please join me in supporting this important legislation. |
