Subject: Suspension of State Gas Tax Until the End of 2022
 
Governor Wolf recently signed a letter with governors from five other states announcing support for a federal gas tax holiday as the conflict in Russia drives up oil prices to record highs. I wholeheartedly agree with the governor and believe that Pennsylvania should lead by example. Therefore, I will be introducing legislation to suspend our state’s gasoline and diesel tax until the end of 2022.
