Subject: Waiving the License to Carry Firearm Application Fee for Active Military and Honorably Discharged Veterans
 
I will soon be introducing legislation to waive the License to Carry Firearm application fee for active military and honorably discharged veterans.
 
This is one small way we can show our appreciation to our military members for defending our country and freedoms.
 
Ohio, West Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas and Texas have waived licensing fees to eligible active duty military or veterans through similar legislation.
 
Thank you for your consideration of cosponsoring this legislation.
