Subject: | Providing Pennsylvanians real relief by lowering the Personal Income Tax |
In the near future I will be introducing legislation to lower Pennsylvania’s Personal Income Tax from 3.07% to 2.5%. One of the most consistent concerns shared with me by constituents is the continued increase in cost-of-living expenses and the threat of inflation. We see the harmful impact of these realities in all of our communities- rural, urban, suburban. As a legislator, swearing an oath to represent the interests of the constituents of my district, I cannot sit idly by while sizable tax-and-spend proposals are considered and celebrated here in Harrisburg. The people of Pennsylvania need some tax relief as another year of high prices and uncertainty unfolds. I believe my proposal to lower the Personal Income Tax will provide Pennsylvanians with tangible relief, and I ask my colleagues to join me as cosponsors of this important piece of legislation. |
