| Subject: | Investing in Pennsylvanians: Historic Tax Cuts and Real Economic Relief |
| As inflation rages across the country, working families and job creators in Pennsylvania are feeling the harsh effects of economic uncertainty and soaring costs. Without further delay, state government must provide real relief. We are calling on the House to follow the lead of the Senate by passing historic tax cuts for hardworking families and job creators across the Commonwealth. Please join us in support of legislation that will mirror the Senate’s bi-partisan vote to return $3 billion to the people of Pennsylvania by reducing the Personal Income Tax (PIT) rate from 3.07 percent to 2.8 percent and eliminating the Gross Receipts Tax on utilities. This historic measure will benefit Pennsylvanians this year and beyond, saving taxpayers more than $13 billion over the next five years. With these tax cuts, every Pennsylvanian will realize more money in their paychecks and experience well-deserved relief from rising energy costs and skyrocketing utility bills. Invest in the people of Pennsylvania, not government. We must take action now to provide real economic relief by putting money back in the pockets of all Pennsylvanians.
