Subject: Recognizing "National Police Woman Day" on September 12, 2024
 
I will be introducing a resolution that recognizes September 12, 2024, as "National Police Woman Day" in Pennsylvania.

This day is observed annually and serves to honor the exceptional contributions of women in law enforcement and acknowledge the sacrifices made by these dedicated officers who put their lives on the line daily to protect our communities. Throughout history, female police officers have consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication, courage, and strength, breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes. Further, "National Police Woman Day" aims to encourage more women to join the service. By celebrating their contributions, we inspire the next generation of female officers.
 
Thank you for your consideration and support. Together, let’s honor the remarkable women in law enforcement.
