Subject: Small Games of Chance Drawings
 
Our service organizations are the backbone of our communities, providing a place for our veterans to congregate, supporting many local charities, and funding many local community projects. Many of these organizations raise funds to donate through Small Games of Chance.

Currently, under the Small Games of Chance Act, there are permittable daily and weekly drawings for the fee of $1.

I plan on introducing legislation that will expand this to allow for monthly drawings.  My legislation will also change the fee for daily drawings, weekly drawings and the new monthly drawings from $1 to up to $10.  This gives our organizations more ways to offer games, as well as raise more funds for charitable purposes.  This small gesture can help our organizations grow and thrive.
