Subject: | Organized Motorcycle Processions |
I will be reintroducing legislation that will allow for organized motorcycle processions, giving them the same rights on the road as funeral processions. In order to qualify for these protections, these processions must have no fewer than 10 motorcycle drivers, not including the lead or trailing motorcycle; take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and sunset; be sponsored by a corporation or nonprofit organization; and be conducted for memorial or charitable purpose. The legislation will grant the procession the following privileges:
