Subject: | EMS Recognition Day in Pennsylvania |
In the near future, we will be introducing a resolution declaring May 24, 2024, as EMS Recognition Day in Pennsylvania. Nationally celebrated each year during EMS Week, EMS Recognition Day is a way to recognize and honor our local EMS heroes across the Commonwealth who serve our communities and save lives providing emergency medical services and care. EMTs, paramedics, and others who serve in the emergency medical services play such an important role in our communities and are there to help provide life-saving care when we need them most.Their commitment to service, protection and public health is second-to-none and no matter what the danger is on the other end of a line, these brave men and women work tirelessly and selflessly to improve and save lives. EMS Recognition Day is a way to show our gratitude to first responders for their unwavering commitment to serving our communities. Please join us in cosponsoring this important resolution declaring EMS Recognition Day in Pennsylvania. |
