Subject: Studying the impact of COVID relief dollars
 
My constituents frequently ask me, “Where did the COVID money go?”

What they’re ultimately concerned about is whether COVID dollars were spent appropriately to cover one-time shortfalls, or if they were used to start new programs that became ongoing expenditures. To answer this question, I will be introducing a resolution directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to review state and local spending that was financed by federal COVID relief funds.
