Subject: Celebrating the 85th Birthday of Former PA First Lady, Ginny Thornburgh
 
We intend to introduce a resolution celebrating the 85th birthday of former PA First Lady, Ginny Thornburgh.

The wife of late governor Dick Thornburgh, Ms. Thornburgh not only served the Commonwealth as First Lady, but has also continued to be a tireless advocate for individuals with disabilities throughout her life.

Over the years, Ms. Thornburgh has amassed eleven honorary degrees (in addition to her degrees from Wheaton College and Harvard University), authored multiple publications, and won numerous awards for her contributions to the Commonwealth and beyond. Her accomplishments are a testament to her passion and conviction and deserve our recognition.

To that end, we ask that you join us in celebrating the 85th birthday of former PA First Lady, Ginny Thornburgh, by cosponsoring this resolution.
