Summary The committee received testimony on H.B 2200 (George) which would provide for the adoption of procedures to encourage energy efficiency and demand-side response and H.B. 2201 (McCall)which would provide for electric distribution default service providers, expands thse providers electricity procurement options, provides for smart metering technology with real time pricing, for a phase-in process for payment of increased rates upon the lifting of rate caps and for micro-grids.
