AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1500

Amend Bill, page 1, lines 12 through 14, by striking out all
of said lines and inserting
Section 1. Section 3(d) of the act of January 17, 1968
(P.L.11, No.5), known as The Minimum Wage Act of 1968, is
amended to read:

Section 2. Section 4(a) of the act is amended and the
section is amended by adding a subsection to read:
Amend Bill, page 4, by inserting between lines 28 and 29
(f) In lieu of the minimum wage prescribed in subsection (a)
and section 5(c) and notwithstanding subsections (b) and (d), an
employer that is a nonprofit entity exempt from taxation under
26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3) (relating to exemption from tax on
corporations, certain trusts, etc.) may pay an individual a rate
of not less than the minimum wage set forth in 29 U.S.C. §
206(a) (relating to minimum wage).
Amend Bill, page 4, line 29, by striking out "2" and
inserting
