Amend Bill, page 1, lines 6 through 8, by striking out all of
said lines and inserting
Amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in preemptions, providing for
protection of gas grills and outdoor cooking.
Amend Bill, page 16, lines 11 through 30; pages 17 through
29, lines 1 through 30; page 30, lines 1 and 2; by striking out
all of said lines on said pages and inserting
Section 1. Title 53 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 307. Protection of gas grills and outdoor cooking.
A municipality may not enact an ordinance, resolution or
other binding requirement that prohibits an individual from
using an outdoor grilling device if the individual is using the
outdoor grilling device in compliance with manufacturer's
recommendations.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
