Amend Bill, page 3, line 22, by striking out the period after
"Commonwealth" and inserting
and may not be payable to an individual who is not a
resident of this Commonwealth or who is not a lawful
resident of the United States.
Amend Bill, page 3, by inserting between lines 27 and 28
(7) Through the executive director of the exchange
authority, make a referral to the appropriate enforcement
agency if the executive director of the exchange authority
has reasonable cause to suspect that an applicant or enrollee
has violated 8 U.S.C. ยง 1325(a) (relating to improper entry
by alien).
(8) Establish a system to verify the residency of each
applicant or enrollee.
