A RESOLUTION
Urging the Biden Administration and the Congress of the United
States to designate Pennsylvania as a hydrogen hub.
WHEREAS, The $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs
Act will, in part, allocate funding for the purpose of
strengthening the United States' resilience to extreme weather
events and climate change, while reducing greenhouse gas
emissions, expanding access to clean drinking water, building up
a clean power grid and much more; and
WHEREAS, This act, also referred to as the Bipartisan
Infrastructure Law, provides for an investment of approximately
$60 billion in the transmission of clean energy; and
WHEREAS, This investment will provide the necessary funding
to upgrade the United States' power infrastructure, including
the construction of thousands of miles of new, resilient
