           JADLOWIEC, BLACK AND TELEK, MAY 1, 1989

        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON RULES, MAY 1, 1989

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Memorializing the Consumer Advocate to investigate price
     2     increases in oil and gas.

     3     WHEREAS, The prices paid for oil and gas are of critical
     4  importance to industry, commerce and consumers in this
     5  Commonwealth; and
     6     WHEREAS, These prices have been increasing recently; and
     7     WHEREAS, There might be some action which the Commonwealth
     8  could take to control these increases; and
     9     WHEREAS, The Consumer Advocate is charged with protecting the
    10  interests of consumers in this Commonwealth; therefore be it
    11     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives memorialize the
    12  Consumer Advocate to conduct an investigation into the prices
    13  paid for oil and gas in this Commonwealth.
