AN ACT
Providing for restrictions on appointment of members or former
members of the General Assembly to the Pennsylvania Gaming
Control Board.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Pennsylvania
Gaming Control Board Membership Restriction Act.
Section 2. Definitions.
The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
context clearly indicates otherwise:
"Executive-level public employee." As defined in 4 Pa.C.S. ยง
1103 (relating to definitions).
Section 3. Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board membership
restriction.
No member of the Senate or House of Representatives or an
executive-level public employee may be eligible for appointment

as a member of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board during the
term of office for which the person was elected or for the
period of employment and for a period of 12 months thereafter.
Section 4. Effective date.
This act shall take effect immediately.
