AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the annual fee for passenger
3 car registration.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1912 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 1912. Passenger cars.
9 The annual fee for registration of a passenger car shall be
10 $36[.], except that the fee shall be $24 for registration of a
11 passenger car owned by an individual who is 65 years of age or
12 older. This fee shall not apply to individuals eligible under
13 section 1901(c)(16) (relating to exemption of entities and
14 vehicles from fees). In the case of joint ownership of a
15 passenger car, only one of the owners must be at least 65 years
16 of age for the passenger car to qualify for the $24 registration
1 fee.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
