A RESOLUTION
1 Designating the month of October 2007 as "Polish-American Month"
2 in Pennsylvania.
3 WHEREAS, The culture, heritage and history of the United
4 States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been immensely
5 enriched by the contributions of countless Polish immigrants,
6 people of Polish extraction and people of Polish heritage; and
7 WHEREAS, The Polish struggle for freedom in Europe is and
8 should be admired by all Polish Americans in this Commonwealth;
9 and
10 WHEREAS, All Pennsylvanians are grateful for the
11 contributions by Poland and its citizens to this Commonwealth;
1 therefore be it
2 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
3 month of October 2007 as "Polish-American Month" in
4 Pennsylvania.
