A RESOLUTION 1 Recognizing the week of April 10 through 14, 2006, as "Small 2 Business Week" in Pennsylvania. 3 WHEREAS, Small businesses in this Commonwealth employ 49.98% 4 of the private nonfarm work force; and 5 WHEREAS, The 234,540 small businesses in Pennsylvania produce 6 over $77.4 billion in annual income, including benefits; and 7 WHEREAS, Most new jobs that are created in this Commonwealth 8 are in small businesses; therefore be it 9 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the 10 week of April 10 through 14, 2006, as "Small Business Week" in 11 Pennsylvania.
