AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Environmental
2 Resources for disbursement to counties of the first and
3 second class that maintain air pollution control programs.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $1,200,000 is hereby appropriated to
7 the Department of Environmental Resources for the fiscal year
8 July 1, 1988, to June 30, 1989, for disbursement to counties of
9 the first class and counties of the second class that maintain
10 air pollution control programs to assist the counties in
11 maintaining air pollution control programs. This appropriation
12 shall be a continuing appropriation and shall not lapse.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989, or
14 immediately, whichever is later.
