                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, requiring the Department of Transportation to issue
     3     additional identification cards to holders of certain
     4     disability registration plates.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Sections 1338 and 1342 of Title 75 of the
     8  Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended by adding
     9  subsections to read:
    10  § 1338.  Person with disability plate and placard.

    12     (b.1)  Identification card.--All persons issued a disability
    13  plate or placard under subsection (a) or (b) shall also be
    14  issued by the department an identification card which complies
    15  with the requirements of this subsection. The identification
    16  card shall include the plate number or placard number and shall,
    17  at all times the vehicle is parked in spaces reserved for

     1  persons with a disability, be in the possession of the person
     2  parking the vehicle or the person for whom the vehicle is being
     3  operated. The identification card shall be exhibited on demand
     4  of any police officer.

     6  § 1342.  Veteran plates and placard.
