1Amending the act of November 30, 2004 (P.L.1578, No.201),
2entitled "An act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the
3Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further defining 'common
4carrier by motor vehicle'; providing for consumer protection
5and information and for the protection of responsible
6customer of public utilities; abrogating regulations; and
7preempting local regulation," eliminating the expiration of
8responsible utility consumer protection.

9The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10hereby enacts as follows:

11Section 1. Section 5 of the act of November 30, 2004
12(P.L.1578, No.201), entitled "An act amending Title 66 (Public
13Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further
14defining 'common carrier by motor vehicle'; providing for
15consumer protection and information and for the protection of
16responsible customer of public utilities; abrogating
17regulations; and preempting local regulation," is repealed:

18[Section 5. The addition of 66 Pa.C.S. Ch. 14 shall expire
19on December 31, 2014, unless sooner reenacted by the General

1Assembly.]

2Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
