AN ACT

Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania

2

Consolidated Statutes, further providing for corrupt

3

organizations; and providing for deception relating to

4

documents showing citizenship or resident status.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

6

hereby enacts as follows:

7

Section 1.  Section 911(h)(1)(i) of Title 18 of the

8

Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

9

§ 911.  Corrupt organizations.

(h)  Definitions.--As used in this section:

12

(1)  "Racketeering activity" means all of the following:

13

(i)  An act which is indictable under any of the

14

following provisions of this title:

Chapter 25 (relating to criminal homicide)

Section 2706 (relating to terroristic threats)

Chapter 29 (relating to kidnapping)

3

Chapter 30 (relating to trafficking of persons)

4

Chapter 33 (relating to arson, criminal mischief and

5

other property destruction)

6

Chapter 37 (relating to robbery)

7

Chapter 39 (relating to theft and related offenses)

8

Section 4108 (relating to commercial bribery and

9

breach of duty to act disinterestedly)

10

Section 4109 (relating to rigging publicly exhibited

11

contest)

12

Section 4117 (relating to insurance fraud)

13

Section 4121 (relating to deception relating to

14

documents showing citizenship or resident status)

Chapter 47 (relating to bribery and corrupt

influence)

Section 2.  Title 18 is amended by adding a section to read:

§ 4121.  Deception relating to documents showing citizenship or

30

resident status.

A person commits a misdemeanor of the first degree if, with

2

the intent to deceive an employer, the person produces or

3

supplies another person with any false documents that create the

4

appearance that a potential employee of the employer is a

5

citizen of the United States or is legally residing in the

6

United States or its territories.

7

Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
