AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, in hunting and furtaking licenses, further
3 providing for resident license and fee exemptions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2706(f)(1) and (g)(1) of Title 34 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:
8 § 2706. Resident license and fee exemptions.

10 (f) Pennsylvania National Guard hunting licenses.--
11 (1) Pennsylvania National Guard hunting licenses shall
12 be issued by the commission or county treasurer to any person
13 otherwise eligible for a resident hunting license in this
1 Commonwealth who provides documentation that within the
2 previous 24 months the person was deployed overseas as a
3 member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard or Air
4 National Guard on active Federal service for a period of
5 [180] 60 consecutive days or more or was released early from
6 such service because of an injury or disease incurred in the
7 line of duty. Only one Pennsylvania National Guard hunting
8 license under this subsection may be issued for each
9 qualifying deployment of a person applying for the license.

11 (g) Reserve component of armed forces hunting licenses.--
12 (1) Reserve component of the armed forces hunting
13 licenses shall be issued by the commission or county
14 treasurer to any person otherwise eligible for a resident
15 hunting license in this Commonwealth who provides
16 documentation that within the previous 24 months the person
17 was deployed overseas as a member of the reserve component of
18 the armed forces pursuant to 51 Pa.C.S. § 7301 (relating to
19 definitions) for a period of [180] 60 consecutive days or
20 more or was released early from service because of an injury
21 or disease incurred in the line of duty. Only one hunting
22 license under this subsection may be issued for each
23 qualifying deployment of a person applying for the license.

25 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days <--
