AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 1, 1981 (P.L.193, No.58), entitled "An
2 act establishing certain fees to be charged by clerks of the
3 orphans' courts of counties of the fifth, sixth, seventh and
4 eighth class and providing for fees in counties of the
5 second, second A, third and fourth class," further providing
6 for fees in counties of the second class.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Section 2 of the act of July 1, 1981 (P.L.193,
10 No.58), entitled "An act establishing certain fees to be charged
11 by clerks of the orphans' courts of counties of the fifth,
12 sixth, seventh and eighth class and providing for fees in
13 counties of the second, second A, third and fourth class," is
14 amended to read:
15 Section 2. In counties of the [second,] second A, third and
16 fourth class all existing fees and charges collected by the
17 Clerk of the Orphans' Court shall continue in effect and shall
18 not be increased except by an act of the Legislature.
19 Section 2. The act is amended by adding a section to read:
20 Section 2.1. The following fees shall be received by the
1 clerks of orphans' courts of counties of the second class:
2 Accounts: For filing, advertising, adjudication and
3 recording accounts of trustees, guardians of minors and
4 guardians of incompetents, graduated according to the total
5 principal and income contained therein:
6 Less than $5,000................... $40.00
7 $5,001 to $10,000.................. 60.00
8 $10,001 to $20,000................. 80.00
9 $20,001 to $30,000................. 90.00
10 $30,001 to $40,000................. 100.00
11 $40,001 to $50,000................. 130.00
12 $50,001 to $100,000................ 150.00
13 $100,001 to $200,000............... 200.00
14 $200,001 to $500,000............... 400.00
15 $500,001 to $1,000,000............. 500.00
16 Each additional $1,000,000 or
17 fraction thereof...................... 200.00
