AN ACT
1 Amending the act of August 9, 1955 (P.L.323, No.130), entitled
2 "An act relating to counties of the third, fourth, fifth,
3 sixth, seventh and eighth classes; amending, revising,
4 consolidating and changing the laws relating thereto,"
5 providing for the availability of certain plans and documents
6 at the county courthouse and authorizing a fee.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Section 1802, act of August 9, 1955 (P.L.323,
10 No.130), known as "The County Code," is amended by adding a
11 subsection to read:
12 Section 1802. Contract Procedures; Terms and Bonds;
13 Advertising for Bids.--* * *
14 (b.1) Copies of plans and contract documents which are
15 subject to bid shall be on file and open during business hours
16 to public inspection at the county courthouse where they may be
17 examined without charge or procured upon payment of a non-
18 refundable deposit of twenty-five dollars ($25) for each set of
19 documents. All bids shall be made on the blank form of proposal
20 to be provided with the contract documents.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
