AN ACT
1 Repealing the act of July 17, 1953 (P.L.461, No.111), entitled
2 "An act to repeal the act, approved the twentieth day of May,
3 one thousand nine hundred forty-nine (Pamphlet Laws 1531),
4 entitled 'An act requiring political subdivisions to file
5 copies of building ordinances in the recorder's office;
6 invalidating building ordinances heretofore adopted unless
7 copies thereof are filed within a certain time; and imposing
8 duties and conferring powers on recorders of deeds,' and all
9 acts amending the same, and validating building ordinances or
10 amendments thereto of political subdivisions not filed,
11 recorded or indexed as required by law."
12 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
13 hereby enacts as follows:
14 Section 1. The act of July 17, 1953 (P.L.461, No.111),
15 entitled "An act to repeal the act, approved the twentieth day
16 of May, one thousand nine hundred forty-nine (Pamphlet Laws
17 1531), entitled 'An act requiring political subdivisions to file
18 copies of building ordinances in the recorder's office;
19 invalidating building ordinances heretofore adopted unless
20 copies thereof are filed within a certain time; and imposing
21 duties and conferring powers on recorders of deeds,' and all
1 acts amending the same, and validating building ordinances or
2 amendments thereto of political subdivisions not filed, recorded
3 or indexed as required by law," is repealed.
4 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
