AN ACT

Designating U.S. Route 219 within the Borough of Johnsonburg,

2

Elk County, as the Johnsonburg Veterans' Bypass.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

4

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Johnsonburg Veterans' Bypass.

(a)  Legislative findings.--The General Assembly finds and

7

declares that the Borough of Johnsonburg has been home through

8

the years to veterans, both living and deceased, who have served

9

our nation valiantly.

10

(b)  Designation.--U.S. Route 219 within the Borough of

11

Johnsonburg, Elk County, is hereby designated as the Johnsonburg

12

Veterans' Bypass.

(c)  Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and

maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway to

2

traffic in both directions.

Section 2.  Effective date.

4

This act shall take effect in 60 days.
