AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for residential permit parking.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 3354 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding s subsection to read:
7 § 3354. Additional parking regulations.

9 (e.2) Residential permit parking.--Notwithstanding the
10 provisions of any local ordinance regarding parking to the
11 contrary, an individual meets the residence eligibility
12 requirements for a residential parking permit if the individual:
13 (1) is enrolled in an institution of higher education;
14 and
15 (2) resides within 1,000 yards of the institution.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
