AN ACT

Providing for the time period for recording deeds from sheriff

2

sales.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

4

hereby enacts as follows:

5

Section 1.  Time period for recording deeds from sheriff sales.

6

Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,

7

all deeds and conveyances concerning any real property conveyed

8

or sold at sheriff sales shall be recorded within 30 45 days of

the conveyance or sale, provided that all costs, assessments and

<--

10

fees related to the conveyance or sale have been met or paid, as

11

provided under the act of March 18, 1775 (1Sm.L, No.704),

12

entitled "A supplement to the act, entitled 'An act for

13

acknowledging and recording of deeds.'"

Section 2.  Applicability.

This act shall apply to all sheriff sales conducted on or

16

after the effective date of this section.

Section 3.  Effective date.

18

This act shall take effect in 60 days.
