| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Providing for the time period for recording deeds from sheriff |
2 | sales. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. Time period for recording deeds from sheriff sales. |
6 | Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, |
7 | all deeds and conveyances concerning any real property conveyed |
8 | or sold at sheriff sales shall be recorded within 30 45 days of | <-- |
9 | the conveyance or sale, provided that all costs, assessments and | <-- |
10 | fees related to the conveyance or sale have been met or paid, as |
11 | provided under the act of March 18, 1775 (1Sm.L, No.704), |
12 | entitled "A supplement to the act, entitled 'An act for |
13 | acknowledging and recording of deeds.'" |
14 | Section 2. Applicability. |
15 | This act shall apply to all sheriff sales conducted on or |
16 | after the effective date of this section. |
17 | Section 3. Effective date. |
18 | This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
