AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 18, 1998 (P.L. , No.41A), entitled
2 "An act making an appropriation from a restricted revenue
3 account within the General Fund and from Federal augmentation
4 funds to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission,"
5 increasing the Federal appropriation.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. As much as relates to the Federal appropriation
9 in section 1 of the act of June 18, 1998 (P.L. , No.41A),
10 entitled, "An act making an appropriation from a restricted
11 revenue account within the General Fund and from Federal
12 augmentation funds to the Pennsylvania Public Utility
13 Commission," is amended to read:
14 Section 1. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
15 necessary, are specifically appropriated from the restricted
16 revenue account within the General Fund and from Federal
17 augmentation funds to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission
18 to provide for the operation of the commission for the fiscal
19 year July 1, 1998, to June 30, 1999, for the purposes and in the
1 amounts shown:

6 much thereof as may be
7 necessary, are specifically
8 appropriated to supplement the
9 sum authorized to be billed to
10 utilities for the operation of
11 the commission:
12 (1) "Natural Gas
13 Pipeline Safety" - To
14 enforce the regulations of
15 the Natural Gas Pipeline
16 Safety Act.
