AN ACT 1 Amending the act of July 2, 2006 (P.L. , No.2A), 2 entitled,"An act to provide from the General Fund for the 3 expenses of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial 4 Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and for the 5 public schools for the fiscal year July 1, 2006, to June 30, 6 2007, for certain institutions and organizations, and for the 7 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close 8 of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006; to provide 9 appropriations from the State Lottery Fund, the Energy 10 Conservation and Assistance Fund, the Hazardous Material 11 Response Fund, The State Stores Fund, the Milk Marketing 12 Fund, the Home Investment Trust Fund, the Emergency Medical 13 Services Operating Fund, the Tuition Payment Fund, the 14 Banking Department Fund, the Firearm Records Check Fund, the 15 Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority Fund, the 16 Tobacco Settlement Fund and the Health Care Provider 17 Retention Account to the Executive Department; to provide 18 appropriations from the Judicial Computer System Augmentation 19 Account to the Judicial Department for the fiscal year July 20 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007; to provide appropriations from the 21 Motor License Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 2006, to June 22 30, 2007, for the proper operation of the several departments 23 of the Commonwealth and the Pennsylvania State Police 24 authorized to spend Motor License Fund moneys; to provide for 25 the appropriation of Federal funds to the Executive 26 Department of the Commonwealth and for the establishment of 27 restricted receipt accounts for the fiscal year July 1, 2006, 28 to June 30, 2007, and for the payment of bills remaining 29 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006; 30 to provide for the additional appropriation of Federal and 31 State funds from the General Fund, the Motor License Fund and 32 the State Lottery Fund for the Executive, Legislative and 33 Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for the fiscal year
1 July 1, 2005, to June 30, 2006, and for the payment of bills 2 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year 3 ending June 30, 2005," increasing, reducing and adding 4 Federal and State appropriations for various Executive 5 departments and agencies. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. The title of the act of July 2, 2006 (P.L. , 9 No.2A), known as the General Appropriations Act of 2006, is 10 amended to read: 11 AN ACT 12 To provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the 13 Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the 14 Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for 15 the fiscal year July 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007, for certain 16 institutions and organizations, and for the payment of bills 17 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year 18 ending June 30, 2006; to provide appropriations from the 19 State Lottery Fund, the Energy Conservation and Assistance 20 Fund, the Hazardous Material Response Fund, The State Stores 21 Fund, the Milk Marketing Fund, the Home Investment Trust 22 Fund, the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund, the 23 Tuition Payment Fund, the Banking Department Fund, the 24 Firearm Records Check Fund, the Ben Franklin Technology 25 Development Authority Fund, the Tobacco Settlement Fund 26 [and], the Health Care Provider Retention Account and the 27 PACE Fund to the Executive Department; to provide 28 appropriations from the Judicial Computer System Augmentation 29 Account to the Judicial Department for the fiscal year July 30 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007; to provide appropriations from the 31 Motor License Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 2006, to June 32 30, 2007, for the proper operation of the several departments 20070S0846B0975 - 2 -

As much as relates to the Federal appropriation 16 for drug law enforcement in section 204 of the act is amended by 17 adding an appropriation to read: 18 Section 204. Any appropriation in sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 of this act, which 14 is the same or similar to any appropriation in the act of July 15 2, 2006 (P.L. , No.2A), known as the General Appropriation 16 Act of 2006, or the act of July 2, 2006 (P.L. , No.6A) 17 entitled, "An act making an appropriation from a restricted 18 revenue account within the General Fund and from Federal 19 augmentation funds to the Pennsylvania Public Utility 20 Commission," shall replace that appropriation. 21 Section 20. Any money which has been appropriated and 22 expended under the act of July 2, 2006 (P.L. , No.2A), known 23 as the General Appropriation Act of 2006, or the act of July 2, 24 2006 (P.L. , No.6A) entitled, "An act making an 25 appropriation from a restricted revenue account within the 26 General Fund and from Federal augmentation funds to the 27 Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission," shall be deducted from 28 the corresponding appropriation in this act. 29 Section 21.
