AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the City of Philadelphia for
2 patrolling certain highways; and making a repeal.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $5,445,000 is hereby appropriated to
6 the City of Philadelphia to provide police to patrol the
7 portions of Interstate Highway 95 and Interstate Highway 76
8 located in Philadelphia County.
9 Section 2. This sum shall be in addition to amounts
10 previously appropriated for the fiscal year 1999-2000.
11 Section 3. Section 6109(a)(11) of Title 75 is repealed
12 insofar as it applies to limited access and divided highways
13 located in counties of the first class.
14 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
