AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for slow moving vehicle emblems.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 4529(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 4529. Slow moving vehicle emblem.
8 (a) General rule.--All implements of husbandry, commercial
9 implements of husbandry and special mobile equipment designed to
10 operate at 25 miles per hour or less and all animal-drawn
11 vehicles shall, when traveling on a highway, display on the rear
12 of the vehicle a reflective slow moving vehicle emblem as
13 specified in regulations of the department. Notwithstanding any
14 regulation of the department, the display of strips of gray
15 reflective material to outline the perimeter of the rear of an
16 animal-drawn vehicle is sufficient as a slow moving vehicle
17 emblem. The use of the slow moving vehicle emblem shall be in
1 addition to any other lighting devices or equipment required by
2 this title.
