1Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2act relating to the public school system, including certain
3provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5laws relating thereto," in school health services, further
6providing for health records.

7The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8hereby enacts as follows:

9Section 1. Section 1402(b) of the act of March 10, 1949
10(P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949,
11repealed and added July 15, 1957 (P.L.937, No.404), is amended
12to read:

13Section 1402. Health Services.--* * *

14(b) For each child of school age, a comprehensive health
15record, including medical and dental records, shall be
16maintained by the school district or joint school board[, which
17shall include the]. Each child's record shall contain:

18(1) The results of the tests, measurements and regularly
19scheduled examinations and special examinations herein
20specified.

1(2) All other information a school obtains concerning the
2health of the child, including information reported consistent
3with 23 Pa C.S. § 6340(a)(12)(relating to release of information
4in confidential reports).
