SENATE BILL

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating Route 222 in Lehigh County from the point
     2     immediately South of I-78 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh
     3     County through portions of Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh
     4     County to the south interchange of Route 100 in Lower
     5     Macungie Township, Lehigh County as the Fred Jaindl Memorial
     6     Highway.

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9  Section 1.  Fred Jaindl Memorial Highway.
    10     (a)  Designation.--The portion of Route 222 in Lehigh County
    11  from the point immediately south of I-78 in Lower Macungie
    12  Township, Lehigh County through portions of Upper Macungie
    13  Township to the south interchange of Route 100 in Lower Macungie
    14  Township, Lehigh County is hereby designated and shall be known
    15  as the Fred Jaindl Memorial Highway.
    16     (b)  Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
    17  maintain signs, which shall display the name of the highway
    18  designated in subsection (a), at each end of the named segment.
    19  Section 2.  Effective date.


     1     This act shall take effect in 60 days.
